The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office funds up to five international fellows to join a cohort of around 20 fellows from across the UK and internationally.

Fellowship Program
As part of theChevening CloreInternational fellowship Leadership Fellowship, each international fellow will undergo a customized program in the United Kingdom, which will include:
- Two residential leadership courses in September 2025 and May 2026.
- Three one-day non-residential skills-based workshops in January 2025.
- A one-day online "Climate Assembly."
- A 360-degree leadership profile.
- A secondment at a UK-based cultural organization (usually in a completely different organization or field from your usual workplace or practice), where you will work on a "live" project defined by your host organization.
- Customized learning opportunities based on your own research, such as conferences, training courses, study visits, and peer/sector networking.
- Focused support from a mentor or coach.
- Exploration of thought leadership through a provocatively written paper.
Notes:
- The fellowship begins in September 2025, with fellows traveling from their home country to the UK for the first residential training of the fellowship in September 2025 and then returning to their home country in early October 2025.
- Fellows return to the UK in January 2026 for the majority of their customized training and development. This will include workshops, study visits across the UK, secondments, mentoring, attendance at training courses and conferences, and the second residential course of the fellowship in May 2026, which completes the fellowship program.

Eligibility Criteria
The following are the key conditions that applicants must review:
- Intend to return to their home country, from which they were selected, at the end of their studies.
- Hold a degree equivalent to at least a UK second-class honors degree or have equivalent training and/or professional experience.
- Have completed at least five years of work experience, or its equivalent, by the end of 2023.
- Meet the minimum requirements according to the main fellowship program.
- Have a good working knowledge of English, which will be assessed in their application form and if they are invited for an interview.
- Must not hold British citizenship or dual citizenship where one of the nationalities is British.
- Must not be employees, former employees, or employees within the last two years of His Majesty's Government (including the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, all British Embassies/High Commissions), or the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Department for International Trade, and UK Visas and Immigration), or the British Council, or any UK university sponsor, or be an employee of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

- Immediate family members are defined as parents, stepparents, siblings or half-siblings, children or stepchildren, spouse, civil partner, or unmarried partner (where the couple has been in a marriage-like or civil partnership-like relationship for at least two years).
- Applicants who have previously received financial benefit from a scholarship or funding by His Majesty's Government are eligible to apply for this opportunity five years after the completion of the first award funded by His Majesty's Government.
