Summer Internship:
Every summer, selected scholars participate ina 10-week research internshipled by EIT. These projects aim to develop innovative solutions to major global challenges across four key areas:
- Health and Medical Sciences
- Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture
- Clean Energy and Climate Change
- Government Innovation in the Age of AI
Projects span disciplines including AI, data science, economics, politics, biology, engineering, chemistry, physics, medicine, law, and more.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A high school qualification recognized by the University of Oxford
- Meeting academic entry requirements for your chosen course
- Meeting Oxford’s English language proficiency requirements
- Proven academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to innovation and collaboration
Selection Criteria:
- Alignment: Demonstrated interest or experience in one of the four focus areas of the scholarship
- Excellence: Outstanding academic performance, awards, or research experience
- Innovation: Creative use of technology to solve real problems — such as founding initiatives or registering patents
- Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Tenacity: Ability to overcome personal or academic challenges
- Integrity: Commitment to ethical behavior and transparency

Phase 1:

Phase 2:
- Shortlisted semi-finalists will be guided to apply officially to the University of Oxford
Phase 3:
Those who receive admission to Oxford will be evaluated by the EIT Selection Committee
Phase 4:
Final scholars will be announced and prepared for their journey to Oxford in October 2026
