Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with First-Class Honours or equivalent.
Must be enrolled full-time in a PhD program or expected to enroll within 3 months of applying.
Students who have already started their PhD at the university less than 6 months ago are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

Outstanding academic record and excellent academic references.
High research potential or an outstanding record of research publications.
Alignment of the research topic with the interests of the school or research center.
Strategic importance of the research (such as institutional collaboration or socially impactful projects).

Important Notes

Students may work up to 600 hours per year with supervisor approval.
Recipients are required to submit semi-annual progress reports.
If the student discontinues studies or fails to make satisfactory progress, the scholarship may be terminated or partially reclaimed.
