How to Apply
Before filling out the application form, please follow these steps to ensure a complete and accurate submission:
Step 1: Review the Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents
Carefully read the eligibility requirements listed above and follow the instructions for filling out the application form. For inquiries, contact: [email protected]
The complete application must include the following documents (in English or translated by a certified translation office):
- Scanned copies of all university and postgraduate degrees and transcripts
- Proof of English language proficiency via one of the following tests:
- TOEFL ITP: Minimum score 465
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score 50
- IELTS: Minimum score 5.5
- Duolingo English Test: Minimum score 85
- English Proficiency Exam from an Egyptian university: Minimum score 465
- Two recommendation letters, one of which must be from your current direct supervisor
- Scanned copy of a valid National ID
- Recent personal photo
- Scanned copies of previous U.S. J1 or J2 visas (if applicable)
Step 2: Create an Account on the Online Application Platform
Via the following link: https://apply.iie.org/huberthhumphrey
Step 3: Complete the Application Form (You do not need to complete the form in one sitting; you can return to it later to make edits.)
Important Tips While Filling the Form:
- Ensure all answers are within the specified sections
- It’s best to upload documents as PDFs to maintain formatting
- Required questions are marked with an asterisk (*) – incomplete applications will not be accepted
Step 4: Submit the Application
Once all information is entered, including referees and supporting documents, review the form thoroughly.
After final review, click “Submit” to send your application.
Important: No edits can be made after submission.
