The Erasmus Mundus IMSOGLO Master’s Scholarship offers the opportunity to obtain an international master’s degree in Soil and Global Change (IMSOGLO). It is a two-year scientific master’s program that aims to prepare a new generation of soil scientists capable of understanding the impact of climate change on soil and its vital functions, and how to manage soil sustainably to ensure environmental and food security.
The program focuses on studying soil chemistry, physics, and biology, and methods of measuring, monitoring, and modeling it across time and space, in addition to developing and implementing climate-smart soil management policies.
IMSOGLO graduates will possess:
-A deep understanding of soil in different ecosystems.
-The ability to work in a multidisciplinary manner and with various stakeholders.
-Awareness of global goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the European Green Deal.
-The ability to contribute to research and policies related to soil health in the face of climate change
