Selection and Evaluation Process
The admission process consists of three main stages:
- Initial Screening: Checking document completeness — incomplete applications are automatically rejected.
- Administrative and Academic Review: Verifying document validity, language proficiency, and performing a detailed academic assessment.
- Interviews: Top-ranked candidates are invited to online interviews to evaluate motivation, experience, and ability to integrate into an international environment.
To ensure diversity, no more than 10% of scholarships are awarded to applicants from the same nationality.
Academic Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance of previous studies to the program’s fields.
- Academic performance (overall GPA and key subject results).
- Reputation of the previous educational institution.
- Motivation and commitment to the program.
- Additional achievements and experience (research, professional certificates, projects, or work experience).
- English proficiency.
Appeals Procedure
Applicants may submit a written appeal within 10 days of the admission decision if they believe there was an administrative or procedural error, or unfair treatment.
Appeals should be sent to the European program coordinator (Prof. Hasan Dağ) or to the Executive Board if the appeal concerns the coordinator.
Responses are typically issued within 28 days, providing reasons and outcomes.
