Vision of the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative

Achieving leadership in the field of communications and information technology by building a skilled and innovative workforce that leads the comprehensive digital transformation locally and regionally.

The initiative is implemented in cooperation with several major global technology companies, as well as local and regional companies working in the fields of developing communications and information technology skills. These companies conduct various activities, including holding practical workshops in different technological fields, enriching the educational process, and providing training courses to develop students' skills. The initiative aims to build and qualify Egyptian youth to enhance their global competitiveness through an integrated program for freelancing and acquiring the digital skills required in the contemporary job market.

Objectives

Develop Technological Skills: Enhance students' and graduates' skills in modern technologies, especially in areas such as software development, artificial intelligence, data science, business analysis, cybersecurity, and digital arts.
Support Entrepreneurship: Provide an enabling environment for students and graduates to start their own businesses on freelancing platforms.
Career Qualification: Prepare students and graduates for exceptional job opportunities in the field of information and communication technology.

Application Requirements for the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative

Must be an Egyptian citizen residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Open to students and graduates of Egyptian universities and higher institutes.
Proficiency in English (minimum of level 4).
For males: The applicant must have completed military service, be exempt from it, or have postponed service until July 2025.
Agree to fully comply with the terms and study regulations of the scholarship.
Provide sustainable contact methods, including an email address and a mobile phone number with WhatsApp.
The governorate in which the in-person sessions are attended cannot be changed.

Admission Procedures for the Digital Egypt Pioneers Scholarship

Admission is based on the priority of registration and passing the acceptance tests, taking into consideration the alignment of training programs and applicants' preferences with each applicant's educational and practical background.

The verification of meeting the basic application requirements and the completion of all required documents is conducted for all applicants. Based on this, those who qualify are invited to complete the application stages, including taking the acceptance tests.

The student registers their information and uploads the required documents.

University graduation certificate (copy)
Military service certificate (copy)
National ID card (copy)

For Students:

Transcript for the most recent academic year or enrollment certificate / copy of the university ID card (until the transcript is issued)
National ID card (copy)

Please note that after completing the registration, the exam form will be sent within 30 minutes to your email from Sprints and on your personal page on the DEPI website.
Be attentive during the exam, as you will not be able to retake it. The exam is monitored and lasts only 45 minutes.
