Emerging Leaders in the program will join more than 20 seminars led by affiliate and guest scholars, including notable figures like Rev. Robert Sirico, Dr. Anne Bradley, Dr. George Nash, and Dr. Anthony Bradley. The goal is for all participants to leave the program with the ability to make a moral argument for free enterprise. These seminars help participants understand the Acton Institute's mission and vision.
Additionally, all program participants will attend Acton University, the main conference that attracts over 800 leaders from 80+ countries each year. At this event, Emerging Leaders can attend lectures and connect with more than 60 speakers from around the world.
By joining the Emerging Leaders Program, you'll become part of a network comprising over 200 leaders who have taken part in Acton's summer student programs. Previous participants have pursued careers in various fields, including think tanks, pastoral ministry, government, consulting, private enterprise, law, academia, humanitarian work, and entertainment.
Along with connecting to Acton's local and global network, participants will be matched with a mentor for a year-long development journey. Mentor pairs will engage in discussions about career goals, skillsets, and vocation, helping Emerging Leaders prepare for their future.
