Introduction to the Scholarship:

The McCall MacBain Scholarships offer more than just financial support to students. This program strongly believes in the power of community, bringing together individuals from diverse cultures with leadership skills to make a positive impact on the lives of others. These scholarships provide not only financial assistance but also training and curricula to enhance leadership skills, enabling recipients to tackle complex problems and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and those around them. Each scholarship recipient will have a professional mentor, coach, and advisor to help set new goals during their studies. Additionally, there will be various activities and seminars for all scholarship recipients to build networks and collaborate.

There are over 450 programs to choose from across a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, literature, law, dentistry, education, sciences, medicine, environmental sciences, and agriculture. This is one of the strongest Canadian programs supporting full funding for immigration to Canada and offering an exceptional educational opportunity.

Scholarship Benefits:

Eligibility Criteria To apply for our 2025 cohort, you must meet ONE of the following criteria:

  1. You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August 2025.
  2. You earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2019 or later).
  3. You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and are 30 years old or younger in 2024.
  4. You have a bachelor's degree in a field related to the one you are applying for in the master's program.
  5. Your bachelor's degree is from a recognized institution and lasted at least four years.
  6. You possess leadership skills, the ability to make a positive impact on the community, and enjoy working with people from diverse cultures.

Additionally, you must meet the minimum degree and language requirements for admission to McGill’s master's programs.
