The IUCN Leaders Forum Changemakers is a dynamic platform that unites young leaders and visionaries who are actively creating or executing innovative projects focused on nature conservation and biodiversity. These exceptional individuals are driving positive change within their own communities. By participating in this forum, selected young changemakers will have the opportunity to collaborate with leaders from across the globe at the prestigious IUCN Leaders Forum, taking place in Geneva in October 2023. The primary objective of this gathering is to advance nature-positive solutions and devise actionable plans to fulfill the goals and targets set forth by the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. These objectives will be addressed at the local, national, and regional levels. As part of this forum, young changemakers will be granted an exclusive platform to present their projects to influential figures from the private sector, government entities, and civil society. Their innovative initiatives will be showcased, enabling them to forge impactful connections and garner support from these influential global leaders. The IUCN Leaders Forum is a yearly gathering that brings together leaders and individuals driving change from across the globe. Applicants must meet the following criteria
Age between 18 and 35 years old.
Demonstrated leadership and innovative contributions in the areas of nature conservation, biodiversity, climate change, and/or sustainable development.
Currently engaged in an innovative project that directly aligns with or will contribute to the goals and targets outlined in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
