Eligibility Criteria for the Master Scholarship

Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for the Utrecht University Excellence Scholarship in the Netherlands:

The applicant must be among the top 10% of students in their degree.
The applicant must not hold a passport from the EU, such as EEA or EU.
The applicant must not have received any type of funding, grants, or loans during previous studies.
The applicant must have completed their bachelor's and master's degrees outside the Netherlands.
The applicant must apply for a master's program starting from September 1, 2025.
The deadline to apply for the Utrecht University Excellence Scholarship 2025-26 for international students is February 1, 2025.
