Training and qualifying Egyptian university students in their pre-graduation stage is a priority for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). This aims to build capabilities in modern technological applications of high value and specialization and to develop the knowledge and skills of university students to become pioneers in the latest fields of communications and information technologies early on. This priority is reflected in the Summer Training initiative for first, second, and third-year students of the current academic year from the faculties of engineering (departments of systems, computers, communications, and electronics), computers, information, and artificial intelligence.
The initiative is a collaboration between the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) to implement a 4-week summer training program with 120 training hours. This includes 30 hours dedicated to labor market skills (soft skills) and 90 hours focused on technical technologies qualifying for international certificates.

Scope: Equip participants with skills for freelance success, including flexible work conditions, remuneration, and self-management. Concludes with creating a landing page on platforms like Upwork.
