Applications are being accepted for a Doctoral Network Student (DNS) position within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Training Network GreenX3, which focuses on environmentally friendly materials, processes, and technologies. The selected researcher will work on the project "Ecotoxicity of compostable plastic: the effect of structure and formulations" in collaboration with NotPla, an industrial partner. The research will involve assessing the ecotoxicity of various compostable plastic formulations, particularly those derived from algae-based materials. This position requires spending 50% of the time in a non-academic setting, mainly at Notpla, and participating in network training events. The researcher will be registered as a PhD student and work in both the Chemistry and Biology Departments at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).
