Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025 | Fully Funded

  • Host Institution: Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)

  • Location: Singapore – North Tower

  • Program Duration: 2 to 6 months

  • Eligible Applicants:

    • Undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year
    • Master’s students in STEM fields
  • Eligible Fields:

    1. Computing and Information Science
    2. Biomedical Science
    3. Physical Science
    4. Engineering
  • Eligible Countries:
    Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, and all other countries worldwide

Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) or master’s student
  • Enrolled in a STEM-related field
  • Minimum of a Second Class (Upper Division) in your Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Must remain enrolled in your home institution during the program
  • Strong passion for research

Required Documents

  • Valid passport copy
  •  Updated CV
  • Official transcripts (Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in English)
  • Motivation letter
  • Recent passport-sized photo (white background)
  • 1-3 recommendation letters

How to Apply?

  •  Browse the available research projects (you may select up to 3 projects)
    Submit a separate online application for each chosen project
  •  Upload all required documents
  •  Await selection results (usually within 2 months)
  •  Complete an interview if shortlisted

Important Notes

  • At least one recommendation letter must be submitted before you can complete your application.
  • Selection outcomes are typically announced three months after the application deadline.
  • All documents should be in English.

Application Cycles and Deadlines for the Year

There are three (3) application cycles throughout the year as follows:

  • January to March: The application deadline is 31 March, results are announced in May, and attachment start dates fall between September and December.

  • May to July: The application deadline is 15 July, results are announced in September, and attachment start dates fall between January and April.

  • August to October: The application deadline is 31 October, results are announced in January, and attachment start dates fall between May and October.
