Now is your chance! The Swedish Institute has opened applications for the Impact Pioneers 2025 program — a fully funded opportunity that brings together ambitious leaders from around the world, including Egyptians, to support local ecosystems for climate tech entrepreneurship.

Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will embark on a unique learning journey that combines virtual sessions with an exciting in-person week in the heart of Stockholm. They’ll explore cutting-edge practices in sustainable technology, gain impactful leadership tools, and collaborate to build innovative solutions for tackling climate change.

About the Swedish Institute Leadership Program

Program Focus:

The program focuses on climate tech, encouraging participants to explore how technology can address the causes and consequences of climate change. It is an ideal opportunity for leaders working in accelerators, incubators, innovation hubs, or entrepreneurship-supporting organizations.

By exchanging knowledge and experiences, participants will sharpen their leadership skills and develop practical strategies for driving sustainable change in their communities.

Program Details

  • Host Country: Sweden

  • Organizing Body: Swedish Institute

  • Duration: 8 weeks

  • Format: Weekly virtual sessions + 1 in-person summit in Stockholm during October 2025 (exact dates to be announced)

  • Program Components:
  1. Online networking, knowledge-sharing, and masterclasses

  2. In-person Sweden Week (October 2025)

  3. Designing a post-program action plan

Note: Participants from Saudi Arabia must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Eligibility Criteria for the Swedish Institute Leadership Program:

Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of one of the 26 eligible countries:
    Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Poland, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Türkiye, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia

  • Be currently working in an organization or company that supports entrepreneurs

  • Have a role or authority to develop international partnerships for their organization

  • Have strong English skills (written and spoken)

  • Be actively willing to participate, share knowledge, and support other participants

  • Have already identified challenges or opportunities related to their local climate tech ecosystem that they aim to work on during the program

For Organizations:

  • Must be locally owned and based in one of the eligible countries

  • Should currently support or plan to support entrepreneurs, especially in sustainability or green innovation

  • Must operate with a clear goal of contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
