TheHSC Youth Ambassador Program 2026is an annual initiative that aims to empower young leaders from Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDE) to actively participate in the conference, share their expertise, and contribute to shaping the global sustainability agenda.The program focuses onbridging the global voice gapby representing youth from underrepresented countries in international policy and sustainability dialogues.

What Does It Mean to Be an HSC Youth Ambassador?

As anHSC Youth Ambassador, you will be able to:

  • Share your voice:Present your insights, experiences, and solutions to global leaders.
  • Participate in conference sessions:As a speaker or attendee, depending on your expertise.
  • Engage with decision-makers:Meet over 1,600 leaders, including heads of state and government.
  • Expand your professional network:Connect with prominent leaders, media representatives, and local youth in Hamburg.
  • Enjoy fully funded participation:Travel and accommodation costs are covered.
  • Connect globally:Exchange ideas with fellow Youth Ambassadors from around the world before, during, and after the conference.
  • Early engagement:Take part in the preparation process and contribute to designing conference activities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age:Between 18 and 30 years old
  • Geographical Background:From a country classified as an Emerging Market or Developing Economy (EMDE) and currently residing there, such as Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Sudan, and others.
  • Leadership:A young leader actively involved in sustainability efforts within their community.

The program also seeks to amplify the voices of young community leaders who:

  • Have a proven track record of delivering concrete sustainability solutions
  • Lead impactful initiatives or raise awareness through existing networks.
  • Mobilize supporters to achieve success.
