Taiwan International Internship Program (Overview)
The Taiwan International Internship Program offers rigorous pre-doctoral research training to international students, offering practical experience and scientific exposure at Academia Sinica and affiliated partner universities.
Details of the internship:
Duration: 1st May - 31st August
place: Taiwan, Taiwan International Graduate Program
Countries: Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Djibouti, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Comoros, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, all countries worldwide.
Internship Duration: 2 months
- 1st cohort: 1st May - 30th Jun.
- 2nd cohort: 1st Jun. - 31st Jul.
- 3rd cohort: 1st Jul. - 31st Aug.
Financial Support:
- You will receive a monthly stipend of NTD 30,000 (before tax) and half of the cost for the least expensive round-trip airfare in economy class from your hometown to Taipei.
- Note: If interns are from the same place in the same group, the reimbursement will be based on the lowest price (up to NTD 15,000).
- Affordable on-campus accommodation will be provided.
- You also have the opportunity to gain scientific knowledge, get practical training, and learn the Chinese language.
Eligibility:
- Students in their last year of undergraduate studies
- Master's students
- Individuals with a B.S. or Master's degree
Note: The following are not eligible for the TIIP program:
- Students currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program.
- Individuals who have participated in the TIIP program previously.
- Current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica.
