Benefits

• Duration: Internships typically range from six to twenty-six weeks and can be either full-time or part-time.

• Covered Expenses: UNICEF offers a monthly stipend to interns, and when funding is available, a one-time lump sum may be provided to assist with travel and visa expenses.

• Visa Support: If needed, UNICEF assists interns by providing the necessary supporting documents for their visa applications.

Conditions

• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• Educational Background: Candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or have graduated within the past two years.

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one of UNICEF’s working

languages (English, French, or Spanish) is necessary. Fluency in the working language of the specific office being applied to may also be required.

• Familial Relationships: Candidates should not have immediate relatives (e.g., parents, siblings) working with UNICEF or any relatives in their reporting line of authority.

• Academic Performance and Motivation: Strong academic performance and a high level of motivation are important factors in the selection process.

• Relevant Professional Experience: Any professional experience that is relevant to the position being applied for will receive additional Consideration.
