The University of Oxford has announced the opening of applications for the AfOx Graduate Scholarships, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), and with support from the Saïd Business School Foundation. This AfOx Scholarship for Master’s Degree presents an exceptional opportunity for students from the African continent who wish to pursue an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at the University of Oxford for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Only 5 scholarships are available for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Funding Provided
- Full tuition fees for the MBA programme.
- Living stipend of no less than £20,780.
- Tailored training programmes, as well as opportunities for academic and professional networking.
- Comprehensive support before, during, and after the period of study at Oxford.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the AfOx Scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Be ordinarily resident in Africa.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Africa’s development.
- Submit a complete application to the MBA programme at the University of Oxford.

No separate scholarship application is required.
- All you need to do is submit your MBA application by the specified deadline.
- If you are shortlisted, the University will contact you for an interview.
