How to Apply for Free Study at the University of Sydney through the Australian Government Scholarship 2025

  1. Browse Available Programs:
    • Filter programs by selecting "research" and then choose a suitable program
  2. Application Process:
    • Click on "apply" when you're ready to apply.
    • On the next page, select "International apply now" for international students.
    • Choose your study year from the dropdown menu.
    • Click on "International apply now" again.
    • If you don’t have an account, click on "new applicant."
    • Enter all required information, check the two boxes at the bottom of the page, and click "proceed."
    • You'll see a page with your details and an application ID. Keep this ID safe as it is important.
    • Click on "proceed."
    • Read all the information on the following page and then click "Continue."
    • If you are applying for a PhD, you need to contact a supervisor at the university.
    • After completing your details, you’ll find a question about whether you want to be nominated for the Australian Government RTP scholarship. Check "yes."
