Program Components
1. Orientation Week at Yale University (February 16–20, 2026)
The program begins with an in-person orientation week at Yale University in New Haven, USA, which includes:
- Interactive sessions with global professors and experts
- Exploration of Yale's environmental initiatives and research centers, such as:
- Yale Program on Climate Change Communication
- Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture
- Yale OpenLab
- Center for Business and the Environment
- Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy
- Yale Office of Sustainability
2. Remote Learning (March – June 2026)
Fellows will participate in a series of virtual interactive sessions with global experts on topics such as:
- Global climate governance
- Decarbonization scenarios
- Accelerating renewable energy growth
- Energy efficiency and behavior change
- Nature-based climate solutions
- Climate policy tools (e.g., carbon pricing)
- Energy security and supply chain challenges
- Negative emissions technologies
- Enhancing climate communication
Fellows will also be required to work in teams on a group project related to climate challenges.
3. Final Week in Paris (June 15–19, 2026)
The program concludes with an in-person week in Paris, where fellows will:
- Meet experts from the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
- Present policy recommendations to an international advisory board
- Expand their professional networks
- Join the global alumni network
