Japan Internship 2024

The Japan Internship Program helps Japanese companies grow internationally and encourages innovation by using the skills of talented foreign professionals. The program recognizes that hiring global talent can make Japanese companies more competitive.

Although more Japanese companies are now interested in hiring international talent, this trend hasn't fully caught on, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These smaller companies often lack experience and connections for working with global professionals.

To tackle this issue, the METI Japan Internship Program helps SMEs create a solid system for expanding overseas. It offers internships to foreign university students and skilled professionals, giving them a chance to understand job roles in Japanese companies. This year, some internships will pair foreign interns with Japanese students to promote global understanding among Japanese students.

In summary, the Japan Internship Program aims to connect Japanese companies, particularly SMEs, with talented people from around the world, fostering cooperation and mutual benefits.
