Eligibility Criteria :

Before beginning the online application for the University of Twente scholarship, check the eligibility criteria to ensure you are eligible for this Netherlands scholarship for international students.

University of Twente Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s program and hold a degree to apply for the University of Twente scholarships.
The applicants must have an average grade of 7 out of 10 after the third quartile of their first year to meet the criteria.
Furthermore, they must maintain 50% of European credits to meet the criteria.
Applicants must have a conditional admission letter of any of the master’s programs starting in the academic year 2025/2026 (September) at the University of Twente.
Moreover, applicants must have a student number.
They should be proficient in English and fulfill the English requirements of IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90)
Applicants must have an excellent academic record, which means that they should be from the top 5 to 10 percent of their class.
Applicants of this master’s scholarship are not eligible for a Dutch study loan;
Also, students must meet the program criteria.
They must not have graduated from UT.
Applicants must meet the conditions to obtain the entry visa for Netherlands (if applicable).

How to Apply for the University of Twente Scholarship 2025:

Firstly, applying for a UT scholarship is a distinct process from your course application at the University of Twente. You must first secure an academic admission letter, regardless of your scholarship application status.
You need to have been (provisionally) admitted to a UT Master’s program that begins in the academic year 2024/2025 (September). Remember, after submitting your application, it can take up to 8 weeks to find out the outcome.
After getting admission the students have to apply separately for the scholarship.
The students will only be able to apply with the given student number.
