Requirements for Applying for the Oxford University Scholarship:

For Master's Programs:

If the program you are applying for requires an "upper second-class undergraduate degree with honors" in the UK system, this means you should have a bachelor's degree with:

  • An average of 80% or B+ or "Good" or GPA 3.5/4.

If the program requires a "first-class undergraduate degree with honors" in the UK system, this means you should have a bachelor's degree with:

  • An average of 85% or A or "Excellent" or GPA 3.7/4.

For PhD Programs:

You should have a master's degree with:

  • 50% ('C') for a passing grade in the UK system
  • 80% ('B') for a merit grade in the UK system
  • 90% ('A') for a distinction grade in the UK system.

Language Requirements:

Basic Requirements:

  • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 7.0, with a minimum score of 6.5 in each component.
  • TOEFL iBT (including the 'Home Edition'): Minimum score of 100, with minimum component scores of Listening: 22, Reading: 24, Speaking: 25, Writing: 24.
  • C1 Advanced: Minimum score of 185, with a minimum component score of 176.
  • C2 Proficiency: Minimum score of 185, with a minimum component score of 176.

Higher Requirements:

  • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 7.5, with a minimum score of 7.0 in each component.
  • TOEFL iBT (including the 'Home Edition'): Minimum score of 110, with minimum component scores of Listening: 22, Reading: 24, Speaking: 25, Writing: 24.
  • C1 Advanced: Minimum score of 191, with a minimum component score of 185.
  • C2 Proficiency: Minimum score of 191, with a minimum component score of 185.

The Required Documents for Applying for the Oxford University Scholarship:

  1. Official Certificates and Transcripts: Include your official academic certificates and transcripts to demonstrate your educational qualifications.
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume: Prepare a concise CV or resume within a limit of two pages. Include your achievements and professional experience.
  3. Motivation Letter: Write a compelling motivation letter outlining your reasons for applying and your aspirations.
