  8. No simultaneous holding of another Postdoctoral Fellowship alongside the Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship. Resignation from any current Postdoctoral Fellowship is required prior to accepting the award.
  9. Possession of a degree in a natural sciences or engineering (NSE) discipline, which includes computer science and mathematics. The NSERC Research Subject Codes for NSE Discipline information can be referred to for further details.
  10. Supervisor requirement: The primary supervisor must hold a full-time budgetary or status-only appointment at the University of Toronto. If the primary supervisor lacks expertise in AI, a co-supervisor with AI expertise is mandatory.
