Eligibility Criteria:

Category 2 (Postdoctoral Fellows): Applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the last three years and must be enrolled in an academic institution during the internship period.
Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be accepted.

How to Apply:

Choose Your Laboratory: Browse the list of laboratories at the RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences and select the one that matches your research interests. Link to Laboratories
Confirm Laboratory Hosting: Contact the chosen laboratory to confirm their availability to host you.
Research Proposal: After securing a laboratory, submit your proposed research topic and discuss it with the team leader to ensure it aligns with the laboratory’s goals.
Submit Documents: Send your application with the required documents via email to the team leader.

Research Background (1 A4 page)
Desired Internship Dates (1 to 3 months)
GDPR Consent Form (for EU and UK residents only)
A Recommendation Letter sent directly from your supervisor to the host laboratory

Deadline:

Applications must be submitted at least four months before the desired internship start date.
For example, if you plan to start your internship in July 2025, your application should be submitted by March 2025, and similarly for other months.
