The Sabancı University PURE Summer Program 2025 offers an exceptional opportunity for undergraduate students to engage in advanced research at Sabancı University in Turkey. This 8-week summer research program allows students to work on applied research projects under the supervision of university professors.

Local students will receive free accommodation in shared dormitories on campus, while international students will be awarded a Türkiye Scholarship, which includes a monthly stipend of 9,000 TL, a round-trip flight ticket, and free accommodation provided by the Türkiye Scholarships. However, all students are responsible for personal living expenses, such as food and transportation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to undergraduate students from all universities
Graduate students are not eligible
Applicants must have good academic standing and sufficient English proficiency (no official test required)
Open to both domestic and international students
Applicants must be undergraduate students at the time of the program (graduates are not eligible)
The program is strictly in-person (no online option)
Sabancı University students enrolled in summer internships or summer courses are not eligible

About Sabancı University:

In 1994, Sabancı Group decided to establish a "world university" under the leadership of the Sabancı Foundation.

The foundations of Sabancı University, the most comprehensive social responsibility project of Sabancı Group in education, were laid in 1995 during a research conference attended by 50 academics from 22 countries, along with students and private sector representatives. This conference marked the beginning of an extensive process of analyzing leading educational institutions in Turkey and worldwide to understand their success factors.

Instead of replicating an existing university model, a completely new and unique institution was designed.

Since 1999, when students first began enrolling, Sabancı University has become an example for many other universities.
