is a program established in 2000 by Orascom Construction Industries as part of its corporate social responsibility, specifically the 'Onsi Sawiris Scholarship.' The company invests its resources in educational programs with the aim of providing Egyptians with the necessary tools for career development, ultimately benefiting society. Since its inception in 2000, the foundation has supported around 91 exceptional students.

Sawiris Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

For High School Graduates:

Achieved 90% in the general secondary education (Thanaweyya Amma) or GPA 3.5.
English proficiency: TOEFL iBT: 100 or higher.
SAT: 1450 or ACT: 32.
Age does not exceed 19 years.

For Master's Students:

Obtained a Good grade for the bachelor's degree or GPA: 3.5.
English proficiency: TOEFL iBT: 100.
MBA-GMAT: 650.
New GRE: overall: 315 (Analytical Writing: 4.5).
GRE or GMAT for Master's.
Age does not exceed 35 years.

Common Conditions:

Non-academic activities: Previously participated in or currently participating in.
Planning to commence studies in the United States for the year 2023.
Egyptian citizenship and residing in Egypt.
Has not lived abroad for more than three years.
Commits to returning to Egypt for at least two years after obtaining the degree.

A student who has previously obtained a master's degree from a foreign university, or has a master's degree from an Egyptian university in the same specialization they are applying for, will not have their application accepted. However, if the master's degree is in a different technical specialization from an Egyptian university, the application will be considered.
