Eligibility Criteria of the Shanghai Jio Tong Scholarship 2025:

The candidate must not be a Chinese citizen.
The candidate must have an excellent academic record.
The candidate must be in good health.
For the master’s program, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree.
For PhD program, the candidates must have a master’s degree.
The candidate must be proficient in Chinese or English.

How to Apply for the SJTU Scholarship in China 2025:

The candidates have to apply online at study@sjtu.
The candidate has to submit an application fee of RMB 800 which will be non-refundable.
The candidates have to apply for scholarships separately.
There are two channels for scholarship one is through university and the second is through online Chinese Embassy/Consulates in the home country.
If you are applying through university, you have to choose “apply for the scholarship through SJTU”.
If you are applying through the embassy or consulate, you must consult the embassy for the application schedule, eligibility, and requirements because it varies from country to country.
if you are applying for the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, you are required to contact the supervisor and get an acceptance letter from your chosen supervisor.
