General Overview of the Training
This training is available to all nationalities, offering practical experience at one of the leading companies in Austria for a duration of six months, with a monthly salary provided throughout the training period.
This company is one of the largest in Austria, specializing in the global industries of energy, chemicals, and sustainability. The company focuses on addressing climate change issues and leading sustainable energy initiatives, employing approximately 22,000 people.
In the chemicals and materials sector, OMV, through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world leaders in providing advanced and circular polyolefin solutions. It is a market leader in Europe in the field of basic chemicals and plastic recycling. In collaboration with two major joint ventures—Borouge (with ADNOC in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar™ (with TotalEnergies in the USA)—Borealis supplies customers worldwide with products and services. OMV’s fuels and feedstock division produces and markets fuels and feedstocks for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates approximately 1,700 fuel stations in eight European countries.
In the energy sector, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in four main regions: Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the North Sea, and the Asia-Pacific region.
