Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Excellence Scholarship Program:

  • Be a new student who has received an admission offer letter or an English Language Academy student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
  • Be enrolled or enrolled in the Summer Start International Program who has received a conditional or unconditional admission letter.
  • Be enrolling or enrolled full-time in a Postgraduate Diploma, master’s degree, or undergraduate degree.
  • Have GPE at least 6.00.
  • Inform the scholarship office about all the scholarships, awards, and grants that the applicant is receiving other than this scholarship.
  • Meet the merit criteria for this scholarship.
  • Not be citizens or residents of New Zealand or Australia.
  • Be enrolled in “on-campus” programs.
  • Payback full fees if they do not complete at least 2 semesters at the University of Auckland after selection.
  • Follow all the regulations of the scholarship.
