Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Why are there so many conditions for this initiative?
In fact, this is not a grant but an initiative provided by the Ministry of Communications. The trainee pays for the training in installments from their salary after employment. This means the initiative is linked to employment. We review the conditions required by Oracle's partner companies and select candidates based on those criteria, then train the applicants. If the trainee does not find a job, the loan is canceled, and no fees are paid.
- How are candidates selected and prioritized?
Selection and prioritization are based on the university, college, and grade, then proficiency in English, followed by overall appearance, skills, and previous personal experiences either during college or after graduation.
- I submitted my application, but I haven't received any confirmation or contact regarding exams or interviews.
If you meet the conditions, you should be contacted via email to schedule acceptance tests for the initiative within a month, God willing.
- Why was the grade requirement added, and why all these requirements? I think this condition is unreasonable. Does this mean that someone with a passing grade has no chance of receiving good training or respectable job opportunities, even if they are more motivated than others with higher grades?
These are the conditions requested by the partner companies, but there are other factors in the selection besides grades, such as experiences, skills, and whether you have taken courses or worked on projects before. All these factors contribute to preference and selection.
- Who will employ me? I mean, what types of companies? Will I take the course and then search for a job, or will I wait?
The Oracle partner companies will employ you. After selection, you will start training and then work with these companies or with companies that use Oracle databases and applications.
- Is this initiative only for Computer Science graduates?
Applications are open to all disciplines.
- Do I have to be a graduate, or can I be a student?
You must be a graduate because the initiative relies on employment after the 3-month training period.
- What jobs will I be working in after completing the training?
You will work in highly specialized IT roles with a promising future. The companies that need these roles are major companies such as banks, telecommunications companies, and large institutions inside and outside Egypt.
