Opportunity Overview
Since 2015, the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) has been helping young people become leaders through global citizenship education. Every year, they host a workshop where 50 young leaders from around the world come together to learn, share, and network. Over 400 young people have been trained through these workshops in different parts of the world.
In 2023, the 9th Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education will focus on the theme of “Global Citizenship and Youth Empowerment for Inclusive Futures for All.” The workshop will bring together global citizens who want to work together to make society more inclusive by fighting inequality with innovation, commitment, solidarity, and a shared vision for a better future.

Eligibility Criteria
- Born between 1995 and 2004.
- Citizens of the Official Development Aid (ODA) recipient countries.
- Minimum 2 years of active experience in youth activities.
- Completion of the e-learning course titled “GCED for Youth” on GCED Online Campus (www.gcedonlinecampus.org) before the application deadline ＊Course Certificate must be attached in the application.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
