  • You will receive a monthly allowance of 1,516 Swiss Francs.

eligibility criteria:

To qualify for a CERN internship, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must be a full-time student pursuing a Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree. Please note that candidates studying for a PhD are not eligible for this program.
  2. You must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. Your main field of study should be in one of the following areas: applied physics, computing, mathematics, electricity, electronics, mechanical or civil engineering, instrumentation, materials science, radiation protection, safety and environmental protection, surveying, ultra-high vacuum, or scientific communication. Alternatively, if you are in an administrative field, your studies should focus on translation, advanced secretarial work, accounting, legal services, human resources, librarianship, or logistics.
  4. You must remain a full-time registered student throughout the duration of the internship at CERN.
